Biography:
I was born on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island before moving to Naval Air Station Subic Bay in the Philippines. I also lived on Naval Air Station Miramar, San Diego before spending several years of my life in Federal Way, Washington. My father is from the South Side of Chicago and my mother is from Bicol on the island of Luzon in the Philippines.
I am a strong believer in supporting underrepresented populations in higher education. However, my first passion is creative writing and I spend a large party of my free time reading and writing.
One interesting thing about me:
I was an avid collector of comic books for 12 years.
