Summer Bridge, A Program for Entering Freshmen
June 23 – July 11, 2008
9:00am to 12:30pm, Monday-Friday

What is the Purpose of the SSS/EOP Summer Bridge Program?
The Summer Bridge Program can help you ease into college life by increasing your study skills, teaching you better time management, and connecting you with other students entering PSU.

What will I get out of the Summer Bridge Program?

  • 3 college credits at absolutely no cost to you
  • A better understanding of University expectations
  • A new group of friends who will also be starting PSU in the fall term

Who is Eligible?
You may qualify for this program if you have been formerly admitted to PSU for fall term 2008, you feel like you need some extra help with writing and study skills, and you meet one or more of the following:

  • Neither of your parents (or guardians) earned a bachelor’s degree
  • You have a high school GPA of 2.5 or above, or a GED
  • You meet federal low-income guidelines
  • You have a documented disability
