Educational Equity Programs and Services (EEPS)
Programs and services offered through the Office of Educational Equity provide academic support services to Portland State students, as well as college information and educational support services to students in many of the Portland metropolitan area middle schools and high schools.
Comprehensive academic support programs are available for students who
come from diverse backgrounds, especially those who have been
traditionally underrepresented in post-secondary education. EEPS
programs and services are geared to help students achieve greater
success at all levels through enhancement of writing and math skills,
academic advising, counseling, advocacy, mentoring opportunities, and
scholarship information delivered by a multi-cultural staff.

Skills Enhancement and Tutoring Center (SETC)
The SETC offers one-on-one tutoring, supplemental instruction, and workshops. The SETC is certified by the College Reading and Learning Association, a national organization that recognizes university tutoring programs.
Only current-term PSU students may use our services as we are funded by student fees.

The services offered by the Writing Center are free and open to the public: you may bring in any writing project—academic or nonacademic, personal or professional.
